Join us for a book discussion as part of our Candid Conversation series, programs looking at issues of race in our community and country. This month's book discussion will be The Hard Verge: Britain 2025 by Dr. Gretchen Eick. The novel explores a future world where government solutions for a rapidly rising number of asylum seekers reaches a critical point. The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Gretchen Eick, the book's author, who teaches history at Friends University. Books are available for checkout at the Advanced Learning Library, first-come, first served, or call to request a copy be sent to your branch location.
