Teens Code: Beginners

Learn to code in a programming language that's beginner-friendly! Enjoy learning to code with the Google CS First curriculum and Scratch. Participants are encouraged to bring their own headphones and need to be proficient in reading, typing, and working semi-independently. This 4-week class is aimed at those who have not taken a coding class with us before. For ages 12-18. Registration is required, beginning June 18; call 261-8500 or register online. (Participants will register for all 4 classes at once as the curriculum builds on what is learned in past sessions.)

Staff will be available to answer questions, help you start a new project, or investigate a new coding language.  No registration required, but tickets will be available starting 30 minutes before the program in the Teen Pavilion for the 12 available seats.  This session is for coders ages 12-18 who have already taken a coding class at the library.
