Event Details

Amateur radio operators design and build payloads that contain scientific and communications equipment that they then fly to the very edge of outer space on high altitude balloon flights. The missions are tracked using amateur radio equipment. The flights generate useful data that can support educational programs and enhance radio communications. Co-sponsored by the Wichita Amateur Radio Club.
